Akhil qualified as a Solicitor in 2001 and specialises in Family Law and Private Client Law.
Akhil takes a pragmatic approach with his clients, getting the desired result. He will always attempt to resolve matters through negotiation whenever possible but will not shy away from court proceedings should it be required.
He is able to advise and deal with all areas of Private Client Law including Wills, Administration of Estates, Trusts, Tax Planning, Court of Protections and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Brian has been practising as a Solicitor since 1978 and has built up the firm over many years.
Brian lives in Wisbech and has strong links with the local community. He has very detailed knowledge and experience of the local Commercial and Development Property sectors.
Ian qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 1983 and has worked in Fenland dealing with local people throughout the whole of his career.
Ian has a reputation for practical and straight forward advice. He specialises in Conveyancing, Wills and Probate.
Chris started his career as Assistant Legal Cashier in the summer of 2000. His progression with the company resulted in promotions to Head Cashier in 2005, Practice Manager in 2008 and Director in May 2016.
Away from work, Chris enjoys going to the gym and spending time with family and friends. He was Club Captain at March Town Cricket Club for 9 years and remains an active member of their committee. Chris is also a Trustee of The Avenue Sports Ground in March.
Sophie qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and is a member of our property team at the Wisbech office.
Sophie is able to advise clients with a wide range of matters including house sales and purchases, the transfer of equity and equity release.
Paula has worked in the Fenland area for over 25 years and joined the March office in 2017.
Paula qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 1991 and specialises in Residential Conveyancing.
David joined Bowsers in 2014 and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
David is currently working in the Commercial and Residential Conveyancing departments at the Wisbech office and is able to advise clients on a wide range of matters.
Hilary qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2001. Hilary specialises in Residential Conveyancing and has worked within Cambridgeshire and Norfolk for many years.
David is a Family Law Solicitor and joined Bowsers in February 2018. He is an Advanced Member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel, specialising in Financial Matters and Private Law Children.
David is also a Family Arbitrator and as such is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Niveta qualified as a solicitor in November 2019 after completing her training contract at Bowsers. Niveta is part of the residential property team.
Niveta completed both of her degrees at De Montfort University. She achieved a First Class Honours degree in Law in 2016 and completed the Legal Practice Course in 2017.
Mariya qualified as a solicitor in June 2021. She joined Bowsers in July 2021 and is part of the Commercial Property team.
Mariya studied at the University of Westminster and holds a degree in Law (LLB). She also completed the Legal Practice Course and Masters (LPC, LLM) at the University of Law in 2018.
Mariya is driven by a desire to help others and has experience of working with various charities. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, swimming, arts and crafts, eating out and socialising with friends and family.
John qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in June 1989 and has worked with the company as a consultant since 2015 dealing with Dispute Resolution and Civil Litigation.
John has vast experience over many years of acting for individuals and companies and can help with a wide range of disputes, such as employment law from initial advice to settlement agreements and tribunals, contractual disputes from debt recovery to more complex commercial matters, landlord and tenant issues such as possession proceedings and disputes about commercial leases, partnership disputes, claims about inheritance and wills, and disputes between neighbours over boundaries and other issues. John also specialises in personal injury claims.
